Stakeholder Update – 06/27/2022

WTS is pleased to present this month’s newsletter. To all of our new subscribers, welcome aboard and I trust you will enjoy the WTS experience. I am particularly pleased to begin this month’s Stakeholder message with some exciting news. As you all know, WTS is a proud participant in the American Chemistry Council’s Responsible Care® Partner Program. Our Responsible Care® Management System (RCMS) serves as the road map for all current and future endeavors. I take immense pride in the WTS employee engagement in our RCMS, always striving for Continual Improvement in everything we do. Each year, we recognize and award a select group of employees who go above and beyond in their participation and adherence to our RCMS and we award one individual in particular with the WTS RCMS Employee of the Year. Our most recent internal WTS Huddle focused on our RCMS and during that we honored Dave Bevacqua, Brian Caliendo, Andy Decker, Lori Freed and Dan Shuler as nominees for this award and proudly named Lisa Schley as the 2021 WTS RCMS Employee of the Year. Please join me in congratulating Lisa and all the nominees for their exceptional service and commitment in 2021 and beyond.

In this month’s newsletter, we continue our RCRA 101 educational series by delving into explanations around Land Disposal Restrictions, Assigning Hazardous Waste Codes and the complex world of RCRA Exclusions. You will also find an update around USEPA’s e-Manifest program with some interesting news for our New York State based generators.

I hope you all have a healthy and happy kickoff to summer.
