At WTS, our commitment to Responsible Care® continues to drive operational excellence, environmental stewardship, and safety leadership across every aspect of our business. The 2025 reporting year stands as another strong testament to that commitment—highlighting measurable success, continuous improvement, and meaningful engagement from all stakeholders.
Achieving Goal Zero
We are proud to report that WTS achieved and maintained our Goal Zero Standard—zero injuries, zero fines, zero compliance actions, and zero insurance claims. This milestone reflects the discipline, accountability, and safety-first mindset embedded across our teams.
Recognizing Excellence
Our people are the foundation of our success. In 2025:
- Erika Betti was named WTS’s RCMS Employee of the Year
- Honorable nominees included Amanda Hart, Andy Decker, Brian D’Souza, Dave Raby, Jon Palmer, and James Lotterer
We extend our appreciation to all WTS employees for their engagement in strengthening our Responsible Care Management System (RCMS). Additionally, we received numerous positive recognitions through our Client Satisfaction Survey and look forward to sharing 2025 results in the coming year.
Strengthening Our Systems
System verification remained a key focus:
- Compliance reviews, audits, and risk assessments were conducted across DOT, RCRA, OSHA, and supplier programs
- Third party auditors praised WTS for its robust internal audit practices, use of AI-driven carrier evaluation tools, and effective by-product and waste stream management systems
Driving Continuous Improvement
Our RCMS Objectives program continues to guide innovation and accountability:
In 2025, 37 corrective action reports (CARs) were created—consistent with prior years and reflective of a strong reporting culture. These actions addressed transportation, safety, supplier compliance, and operational improvements. CARs remain a critical tool in strengthening our processes and preventing recurrence.
Throughout the year, WTS maintained a disciplined approach to system management:
- Quarterly RCMS reports and management reviews
- Annual audits and risk assessments
- Strong participation in client and supplier surveys
- Submission of ACC metrics and ongoing system updates
Client feedback remained overwhelmingly positive, reinforcing the value of our approach.
Industry Leadership & Communication
WTS continued to actively engage with industry partners and stakeholders:
- Winner of the ACC Partner Sustainability Award
- Participation in ACC, SOCMA, ACD, and regional conferences
Expanding Our Supplier Network
- Added 54+ new suppliers in 2025 to the largest regulated waste and by-product network in North America.
Looking Ahead to 2026
As we move forward, WTS is focused on:
- Advancing RCMS objectives and sustainability initiatives
- Expanding client and supplier engagement
- Fostering our Shared Commitment with all our Stakeholders
A Shared Commitment
Our success in 2025 reflects the collective effort of our employees, supplier partners, and clients. Your participation in our Responsible Care Management System is what drives continuous improvement and meaningful progress.
We thank you for your continued trust and partnership—and we look forward to continuing together and building on our momentum into 2026 and beyond.
