Stakeholder Update – 03/27/2026

Together with Northstar Recycling

Over the past six months, I have been asked a number times questions along the lines of the following: How are you doing? How is the WTS team doing?  What has been your experience since WTS became a Northstar Company?

Thanks for your interest – we’re doing well while doing good; feeling energized, focused, and excited about the progress we’re making every day. We’re collaborating well, staying hungry, and continuing to build momentum together. We’re establishing a strong sense of alignment, new opportunities for growth, and a shared vision that’s really empowering our entire team to succeed.

While many acquisitions—often cited at 70–90%—struggle to achieve their intended success, our experience has been notably different. This success is a direct result of the intentional and disciplined approach taken from day one: the immediate establishment of a dedicated Integration Management Office, a strong commitment to retaining and supporting our team, the harmonization of key systems, and a deliberate focus on leaning into our culture carriers who embody the values that define WTS.

This transformational period has been a steady and purposeful journey defined by integration, innovation, and improvement—always with an orientation towards delivering greater value to you, our stakeholders.

Integration

Our integration with Northstar has centered on aligning shared services and leveraging combined capabilities to drive operational advancements. By bringing together WTS’ deep technical expertise with Northstar’s scale, national recycling network, and operating excellence we are advancing a platform that offers broader, more integrated sustainability solutions across a wider range of waste and by-product streams.  We will continue to strive towards making this integration seamless for you, our stakeholder.

Innovation

While we continue to show up as WTS, we have advanced our focus on innovation—developing solutions that minimize hazardous waste generation, expand landfill avoidance strategies, and further materialize the circular economy. With Northstar, we are unlocking new opportunities to reuse, recycle, and repurpose materials, helping you achieve both environmental and operational objectives.

We are developing and deploying game changing solutions that move materials away from landfill/disposal into recycling/reclamation, converting an expense to a revenue for our client and delivering long-term liability protection.

Improvement

Our culture of continual improvement is rooted in our longstanding commitment to Responsible Care® and shared values centered on safety, compliance, and doing the right things the right way. This foundation continues to drive measurable outcomes—enhancing compliance, delivering cost savings, and advancing sustainability performance.

In this stakeholder communication, we are proud to share with you our:
